D Peters on wind power technology as source of energy

Ms Dipuo Peters, MP, Minister of Energy today (Saturday, 21 August) rejected outright the suggestion by Dr O'Connor, Chief Executive Officer of Mainstream Renewable Energy Power, that wind is the only source of energy.

Gauteng Health and Social Development on support of Peter Wessels Retirement Village survivors

The Gauteng Department of Health and Social Development would like to thank business people, non-organisational organisations (NGOs) and the public who responded to our call to donate food, clothing and diapers to survivors of a fire at Peter Wessels Retirement Village.

Last week, Sunday, 1 August 2010, 23 elderly people died when their home caught fire. As result we received more donations than anticipated.
